Home rental rates in Hungary rose almost 20 pc in March
Home rental rates in Hungary rose by an annual 18.2 percent in March, data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show.
Rental rates in the capital increased by 19.0 percent. Month on month, home rental rates rose by 2.3 percent countrywide and were up 2.9 percent in Budapest. The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged 164,000 forints (EUR 440) in the second half of last year. In the west of the country, a flat could be rented for 126,000 forints per month.
